Concentrated flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, plum, red raspberry and Bing
cherry followed by notes of tangy black pepper and smooth vanilla in the long
finish. Rich and full-bodied with nicely balanced tannins and structure.
This wine pairs well with grilled rib eye or prime rib, steak tartare, rustic Cassoulet,
wild mushroom risotto, braised rabbit or wild boar, smoked duck with creamy
polenta, leg of lamb, barbequed beef or pork ribs and hearty pasta dishes such as
baked rigatoni or lasagna.
