Physician-cum-wine-enthusiast Bill Dickerson is the guardian of the vines that bestow these superlative wines. His vineyard on (what else?) Zinfandel Lane on the West side of Napa Valley is sheltered by the Mayacamas Mountains, allowing the long Napa growing season to build up full, round flavors in the grapes.
