Winemaker's Notes

the glass, this wine is a deep garnet with slight purple hue. Aromas of black cherries, unctuous plums, and figs juxtapose neatly against brooding scents of mushroom, smoke, cola, and cumin. On the attack, these aromas combine with brown spices to unearth memories of baking a cobbler in Dutch oven over a campfire. This wine has a rich mouthfeel, and is worthy of aging, or enjoying now, with or without camping equipment.
