Winemaker's Notes

Our Alsatian inspired Pinot Gris matches a classic oily richness on the palate with a racy acidity in the finish, making the wine extremely well balanced and versatile to pair with food. It displays heady aromas and flavors of tangerine, peach, sweet vanilla and cream accented by floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine.

Pair this wine's richness with sautéed scallops, soft-shell crabs, lobster, foie gras or highlight its crisp elegance with linguini and fresh clams or al pesto.

"A simple beauty, this pinot gris has an intruiging transparency. The round flavors of fresh apples are edged by a pink grapefruit acidity, spicy and full without feeling heavy or thick. Its bright, spicy finish will lift any simply prepared shellfish, from razor clams to scallops."
