Winemaker's Notes

1983 was a classical vintage year. It was characterized by a fairly dry winter, followed by substantial spring rains to balance out the growing cycle. Temperatures were moderate, resulting in grapes of especially high quality.

Amazingly intense cherry color, with concentrated aromas of black currant, cassis, cherry and blackberry. Fresh and fruity in the mouth, with great structure and seductive balance. Luscious and built to last!
