Our Pinot Noir comes from the cool Russian River Valley, which is known for producing much of the most highly rated Pinot Noir in the United States. We produce this wine in the traditional French Burgundian style by fermenting whole berries in small half-ton bins. The process is quite labor intensive, as the bins are manually punched-down day and night, allowing the fermentation to be as slow as possible. The wine is then pressed into small French oak barrels and allowed to age for 13 months. The result is a rich, spicy Pinot Noir with distinct cherry and vanilla flavors. We are proud to present our third vintage of this exquisite and elegant wine.
