Winemaker's Notes:
The rich hue of the 2010 leaves the impression that this is going to be a big powerful Zin. But you quickly discover the wine is well-behaved. A brambly, berry-driven Zinfandel that delivers not only classic Dry Creek flavors of raspberries, but also wonderful boysenberry and plum notes accented by a good dose of baking spices and just a touch of oak.
While it would work well with just about any grilled meat, it has a particular affinity for barbecue. |
