Winemaker's Notes

Made from 100% Tempranillo, this traditional red table wine from Spain is medium-bodied with flavors of black cherry with undertones of vanilla and oak.

Critical Acclaim

"Pungent aromas of redcurrant, cherry pit and dried flowers, with hints of vanilla and cola. Shows very impressive complexity for the price, offering sweet red and dark fruit flavors and a hint of musky herbs. The spicy finish repeats the cherry note and lingers nicely. There are loads of Riojas out there selling for three times as much that don't match this wine for sheer fruit or complexity."

We loved this wine. After taking a trip to Spain I was hooked on their wine. This was recommended to me by a small wine shop I happened across. Really enjoyed it. And so far everyone who I have given it to has loved it also. This wine tastes similar to others I've had at a much higher price. Makes great Sangria!

This was so so. Not horrible but not motivated enough to buy it again.

After reading the reviews of the 2004 and 2005 vintages, I was looking forward to trying this wine. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed... after one taste I found it pretty much undrinkable. 'Musky' is an understatement for this wine. The rest went down the drain. Will not buy again.
