Winemaker Notes
This is an aromatic white wine with bright aromas of white peach,
melons and honeysuckle. The palate is sharp with good acidity, minerality, bright stone fruits and a touch of tannins.

When was the last time you tasted a Grenache Blanc? And how about one from the new world? The 2015 Priest Ranch Grenache Blanc exhibits alluring aromas and flavors of mineral, peach skin, and flowers. The wine's rich palate and crisp finish make it delightful match with a coarse pork pâté, cornichons, and pickled onions. Drinks well now. (Tasted: October 5, 2016, San Francisco, CA)

Grown on the eastern flank of the Napa Valley's Vaca Mountains, this white dazzles in juicy acidity and creamy texture, finding the best of both sides of the coin. Seamless and focused in tastes of pear and nectarine, it adds notes of stone and spice.

Priest Ranch wines are grown and made at the Somerston Estate in the Eastern Hills of Napa Valley. The eastern part of the Somerston property was originally settled by Joshua James Priest who arrived in California in 1849. Priest gained title to 638 acres of the Catacula land grant in Soda Valley and he and his descendants managed to hold on to most of the ranch for over a century. Today, all the Priest Ranch wines are 100% Estate Grown and made from selected vineyard blocks that express integrated and intensely rich, yet approachable qualities. Priest Ranch wines represent the diversity and richness of the Somerston Estate.
