The nose offers blackberry, youngberry and bramble aromas with subtle notes of cedar oak and pencil shavings with a hint of perfume. Dark berry fruit flavors follow through onto a palate where oak clearly plays a supportive role. The wine is medium bodied with smooth tannins – all contributing to the accessibility of the wine.
Drinks exceptionally well now or enjoy within the next 3 years with meaty casseroles, venison or steak tartare.
