Winemaker's Notes

This Pinot Noir is a blend from Ponzi's Aurora and Estate vineyards, along with Gran Moraine, Dion and Lazy River vineyards. This wine is made from 100 percent LIVE Certified Sustainable fruit.

This perfumed nose shows vanilla, spice and red fruit leading to a mouth of warm spice notes and blueberry. The finish is long with soft tannins.

Critical Acclaim

"As usual, Ponzi Vineyards' 2008 Pinot Noir Tavola is an outstanding value. It is a blend of 10 vineyards from several AVAs made in a forward, easygoing style. Medium ruby red, it exhibits an inviting nose of spice box, rose petal, cherry, and raspberry leading to a savory, ripe, tasty offering with good volume and length. Enjoy it over the next 4-6 years"
