Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is the quintessential Western Australian blend with a nod to Bordeaux.
The wines are typically fermented in stainless steel and released fresh and vibrant, the round
structure of Semillon enhanced by the tighter linear tructure of Sauvignon. A true example of
the whole being greater than the sum of the parts.
Lifted grassy and gooseberry notes with pronounced citrus blossom and lemon rind
overtones that are fragrant, clean and inviting. The palate is supple and juicy, with
delicious racy lemon and grapefruit flavours and a distinct minerally counterpoint. Lovely
balance, harmonious and round but finishing with crisp and clean.
"A bright and fragrant bouquet is a promising start, and the citrus and tropical palate does not disappoint; finishes with refreshing lemony acidity."

Bordeaux White Blend There's white wine in Bordeaux, too! Typically made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and bits of Muscadelle, white Bordeaux can be a fully dry table wine or, as in Sauternes, a deliciously sweet dessert wine. In other areas of the world, a Bordeaux blend consists primarily of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, either of which may be the predominant variety. Bordeaux blends can vary in style, but most have good acidity and often a mineral overtone.
