Winemaker Notes

On the nose, plush blueberry and plum with just a hint of characteristically regional pepper and spice notes with subtle oak characters which impart a sweet, vanilla note. A dense yet supple, harmonious wine palate. Lovely plush tannins, rounded texture with bright plummy, cherry fruit flavors and a clean finish with hallmark spicy lingering flavors.

Plantagenet Wines now has boosted the total acreage to 100, including Malbec, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Plantagenet aims to make elegant, structured wines that have complexity, finesse and balance.
