A rich, opulent wine with ripe blackberry and mulberry aromas and underlying smoky,
savory elements. The powerful palate offers dark berries, black olives and notes of vanilla,
with dark chocolate and tobacco on the persistent finish.
The Chertsey name has been an integral part of the Tolley family for centuries. Not only
is it the name of the UK village that the Tolley family inhabited in the 1800's, it was also
bestowed upon the Tolley family home on migrating to Australia. Thus Kym's father,
grandfather, and great-grandfather all inhabited the Chertsey home in Adelaide, South
Australia, as they were paving the way for Kym's success in winemaking. This wine honours
the tradition and heritage of the Tolley winemaking family.
