Ratings Pedigree:

Winemaker's Notes

A deep dark red core with crimson edges. Ripe dark berry fruits of blackberry and mulberry, with creme de cassis notes are well balanced on the nose with spicy coffee / mocha oak. Dark fruits continue on the palate with dark cherries also covering the palate. Lovely intensity and depth of fruit flavour sits equally well with subtle oak influence and dusty Cabernet tannins creating excellent length on the back of the palate.

Critical Acclaim

"Bright red-purple; has exemplary varietal character and good structure to its medium-bodied palate; fruit, oak and tannins intertwine on the back-palate and finish in a harmonious fashion. Screwcap."
