Plenty of distinctive cabernet character, all black olive and cassis, dusty oak notes and a gently leafy undertone, some redder fruits too. The palate's assertive, taut and crunchy, this is an upbeat cabernet with attractive purity, oak rides in time with the fruit, cassis and hints of chocolate. Acidity stretches the finish, tannins frame it straight and true. Best from 2018.
