The 1993 Bin 128 displays attractive, crimson-red
hues and excellent depth of color.
The nose is seductive and complex with rich spicy berry fruit, lifted by subtle ground pepper
and violets. Soft, complementary French oak
characters, although less overt than the fruit,
support and enhance the nose.
The palate has classic Coonawarra varietal and
regional character. Medium bodied in style, the
wine has instant appeal with exotic pepper and
spice evident together with rich, ripe, berried fruit
and soft, vanillin oak tannins in perfect harmony.
