Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was made predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the estate vineyards which surround Paul Thomas winery. In order to add complexity, small amounts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot were added. The resulting wine boasts aromas of licorice and chestnuts.
The tannins in this wine are big and bold and should therefore be paired with similar foods. Examples might include prime rib or marinated flank steak.
