ratings pedigree (past vintages):
winemaker's notes:

"Paul Dolan and the Thornhill family joined forces to buy Parducci in 2004, converting this old Mendocino winery into a thoroughly modern one. This petite takes Parducci into a new league."
-Wines & Spirits

"Last year's head-turning True Grit bottling redefined what was possible in good Petite Sirah, and this latest effort again comes through with flying colors. While its weight and plainly evident tannins are in keeping with varietal expectations, its very deep fruit and complexing mix of spice and oak moves it right to the head of the class. It may be a bit of a bruiser, but then that is what Petite Sirah is, and as much as it will please adoring fans of the grape early on, it deserves four or five years in which to reach its full potential."

rating (9/28/2010):

Great body. Thick wine full of deep, mellow flavor. Really enjoyed it.
rating (9/26/2010):
Ive been drinking wine for about 4 or 5 years, and this wine is special. This wine is very Mellow, and seems fully matured. Tannins complement flavor perfectly, and the fruit (I remeber a bit of citrus) mixes with the earth tones to make a smooth blend. Really great. I've never been good at describing subtle notes of flavor, but if you are a wine snob this is one you have to review. buy at least 2 bottles, after one you will want another on reserve. I enjoyed this /w Salmon broiled and served on a bed of asparagus and mashed potatoes. I first began drinking it with a great spinach salad with light mango dressing, walnuts, and dried cherries. I can honestly say this was THE BEST combination of foods ive eaten in at least a year.
