Winemaker's Notes: Leesy citrus, grapefruit and honeydew melon flavors are full-bodied, intense and concentrated, with a pleasant earthy edge that builds depth and complexity on the finish. This wine expresses a nose of creamy, toasty oak which leads to a palate of tropical fruit, Meyer lemon, and spice. The fruit is sourced from several prestigious Napa and Sonoma vineyards, and the wine, which is 100% Chardonnay, underwent complete malolactic fermentation before aging in 90% new Francois Freres French oak barrels for 11 months.
