Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

The Riesling grapes were hand-harvested at 14 degrees on December 16th from our Selenium Vineyard in the Columbia Valley. This elegant wine is complex and balanced portraying aromas of apricot and wet stone with flavors of honey and ripe figs.

Critical Acclaim

"Richly opulent, sweet but balanced, sporting enough tangy acidity to let the honeyed pear and nectarine flavors sail through the long, vivid finish. Drink now through 2017."
