Oyster Bay Marlborough Pinot Noir is elegant cool climate pinot noir at its best. Fragrant, soft and flavorful with aromas of ripe cherries and sweet fruit tannins that provide structure and length. Cherry, ripe black plum and red berry fruits accentuated with seductive savory notes and svelte tannins.

Light, but with all the essentials for a good Pinot at a great price. Very nice on the nose initially, but even better if you give it about 20 minutes to open up. Good fruit with cherry coming forward and a pleasing finish. We had fun pairing it with a common, everyday tuna/pasta salad dish and fresh garden tomatoes for a no-frills evening meal on a hot summer day. I tasted the 2008's Pinots in Marlborough on a wine tour and this wine compares very favorably with what Cloudy Bay and others were asking over $30 for at their wineries.

Overall OK, but you really have to like Pinots to appreciate its a bit watered down taste and you need to let it sit open for a few hours.

Not bad - very harsh finish - decant it for an hour at least - settled then - I drank it re-corked the next day and it finally was acceptable.
