Pale straw with green hues, the Oxford Landing Viognier has aromas of lifted musk and honeysuckle followed on with hints of white flowers and stone fruit. The palate is richly textural with classic Viognier minerality complemented perfectly with ripe flavors of the late seasons peach and apricot.
A great wine for drinking now and with careful cellaring this wine will continue to exhibit these generous Viognier flavors and textures for at least 2-3 years.
"Greenish gold. Varietally accurate aromas of peach, pear and orange, with a subtle floral quality. Light-bodied and juicy, with good lift to its pit and citrus fruit flavors, which are underscored by zesty minerality. Finishes clean and with a refreshingly bitter edge, repeating the orange note. As usual, this is a superb value.
