Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

The 2006 seduces with its beautiful ruby color and purple highlights. Slightly spicy nose, with aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants. Supple and full mouth with silky tannins, black fruit flavors, and an elegant fruity finish. This is a harmonious and well-balanced wine that has the potential to age another 2-3 years.

48% Cabernet Franc, 47% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Enjoyed the first bottle that I purchased two more. Used them up at a family dinner. Most said they enjoyed the selection, even those who are normally not wine drinkers. for the money, I thought it was a cut above the norm.

It came up as a suggestion to purchase so I did. It was drinkable, but it lacked body and had a little metalic flavor in the begining. Again, drinkable but not really what I like in a red.
