The vineyard is on a steep, south-facing site on the Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills in Washington State's Columbia Valley. Named "Vineyard of the Year" by Seattle magazine in 2008, the site is "gaining kudos for its world-class grapes," the editors wrote.
