Winemaker's Notes:
The 2006 Red Wine relies primarily on grapes from Novelty Hill's family-owned estate vineyard, Stillwater Creek. The vineyard is on a steep, south-facing site on the Royal Slope of the Frenchman Hills in Washington State's Columbia Valley. Named "Vineyard of the Year" by Seattle magazine in 2008, the site is "gaining kudos for its world-class grapes," the editors wrote.
Generous and round offering delicious, ripe red plum, blueberry and currant aromas and flavors, with a lip-smacking, spicy finish.
Blend: 33% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre, 18% Cabernet Franc, 13% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot
