Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

One of the cellar's favorite pastimes is playing cards. Many an evening, egos have been built-up and then destroyed. It is in this spirit of fun and togetherness that we introduce All In. The wine is a blend of our top lots of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

2006 All In Claret is a wine that is substantial enough to stand up to full-bodied food preparations. Enjoy this wine with classic cuisines such as roast rack of lamb, grilled steak, or duck in various preparations.
