Winemaker's Notes

Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2007!

Pale yellow in color with a hint of green. On the nose, tinned pineapples, guavas, litchi, lemon and lime aromas are abundant. A clean, lively wine with nuances of nutmeg and cloves. Well-balanced and elegant, but with weight and a powerful follow-through on the palate. Stylistically off-dry and lightly oaked, this is an excellent food wine.

Partner with shellfish; grilled tuna; grilled sardines; lemon and herb roast chicken; vegetable stews; Bobotie – South African/Malay dish of baked savory mince served with saffron rice; and biltong.

"Superfresh and racy, with a great underlying minerality driving the chamomile, white peach and honeysuckle flavors, followed by a long, bright finish. Really delicious."

Excellent wine for the money. I love the complexity of flavor as well as the full bodied taste. Beautiful wine for your most prized guests. Great with fish or chicken.

This organization seemed to favor quantity over quality and had most...
