After spending 22 months in new French oak barrels, and another ten months in the bottle, this elegant Cabernet Sauvignon presents seductive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and spice. Complex, and well-structured, the wine features intense black fruit on the palate, as highly supple tannins introduce rich flavors of chocolate, tobacco, anise and spice through to a long finish characterized by muscle, finesse, and concentration.
"Aromas of blackcurrant, licorice and minerals, plus a whiff of mint. Dense and ripe but fresh, with a distinct delicacy and good verve to the black fruit flavors. Finishes supple and subtle, with very good lift and length. "Our grand prix wine," notes Mary Ann Tsai, who is also president of Luna Vineyards."

While some wineries, regardless of nature's varying conditions, are tied to a specific estate or vineyard year after year, our approach allows us the flexibility to access and discerningly select grapes to our exacting standards from among the full range of Napa Valley's finest vineyard blocks.
