Winemaker's Notes:

 The Montevina 2010 Chardonnay offers tropical flavors and great acidity typical of our California vineyards. Intense fruit aromas dominate the nose with apple, lemon, and citrus. Hints of sweet oak, banana and honeydew melon linger on the palate. The wine has a balanced acidity, with a touch of creaminess to add depth. This Chardonnay will pair beautifully with grilled scallops drizzled with delicious cream sauce.

About Montevina Winery:

 In the 1850's, Italian immigrants flocked to California's Sierra Nevada to prospect for gold. After the mines ran dry, many of these wine-loving fortune seekers became grape growers and vintners.
