Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.
Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.
Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Deep ruby red with purple notes.
Well focused aromas on a core of rich supple currant, black cherry fruit and nice floral notes framed by nicely combined vanilla and toast from the oak aging. Flavors are ripe and concentrated with layers of cherry, currant and blackberries. Powerful, with nice texture and balance and with a long, intense and persistent finish that ends with an elegant mouthfeel.
45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Carmenère, 20% Syrah, 15% Malbec
"Inky ruby. Dried cherry, licorice and cedar shavings on the nose. A spicy, tightly wound midweight whose tangy red and dark berry flavors pick up a bitter quality with air. The firm, moderately persistent finish leaves behind spice and dark berry skin notes."
