This wine has a massive array of flavors, and awesome intensity but the thing that really finishes the wine off is the creamy layers and smooth mouth feel. It's so voluptuous. Peter and Andrew
Sweet, multi layered fruit, chocolate, fresh plum – a complete flavor spectrum. Excited to hold it in my mouth.
"Dark and spicy, with a peppery edge to the black olive-accented blackberry flavors, finishing with a touch of heat. "
"Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2012 The Boxer Shiraz opens with tons of intense chocolate, vanilla and spice intermingling with an aromatic core of ripe and berry preserves. Very big, full and rich, it is so concentrated you could practically stand a spoon up in the glass. The medium-level velvety tannins hold through the long, slightly hot, finish."

This is not ready now and it should not be consumed before 2015 or late 2014, at the earliest. A heavily extracted alcohol fruit bomb by nature, this should prove to be a better effort than the 2011 once it reaches maturity. The fruit flavors and lingering spice are quite good and will further develop with time.
