The nose is earthy with subtle hints of cocoa. Deep magenta in color. Quintessentially Australia. Cocoa on the palate as well and round and almost oily in texture. Clay and mineral on the finish. Truly a pleasure to drink!
This incredible wine is worth every penny. BIG, bold and packed with deep fruit and pepper - yet remarkably smooth and sophisticated. This wine takes you away from the first sip and while the finish is tight and controlled - the pepper and fruit perfectly balanced without holding out too long or being cloying. Wonderful wine. I would buy every bottle if I could.
