Mirassou Family Selection Pinot Noir 1997

Lush cherry aromas are accented by a touch of clove and vanilla with background notes of plum and ginger. Forward cherry fruit join plum and spice components in a very drinkable style. Creamy oak textures contribute to the rich mouthfeel and long finish. An excellent alternative for pairing with traditional white wine fare including chicken, salmon, and monkfish. Also superb with customary red wine foods such as beef, veal, lamb or game. Dry and medium-bodied; rich tannins suggest it will improve in the bottle for three to five years from vintage date.
