Winemaker's Notes:
Dry and medium-bodied; rich tannins suggest it will improve in the bottle for 3 to 5 years from vintage date.Lush cherry fruit aromas are accented by a touch of clove and vanilla with background notes of plum and ginger. Forward cherry fruit flavors join plum and spice components in a very drinkable style. Creamy oak textures contribute to the rich mouthfeel and long finish. An excellent alternative for pairing with traditional white wine fare including roast chicken, salmon, and monkfish. Also superb with more customary red wine foods such as beef, veal, lamb, or game. Alcohol: 13.5% by volume. |
