Winemaker's Notes:

 Blackberry, anise and mineral aromas with suggestions of mulberry and briary spice against a toasted oak background; big on the palate, rich and broad with velvety fruit, supple tannin and a clean finish. Not simply a "fruit bomb" like many California Zins, this wine shows the firmness and freshness which are hallmarks of high-elevation fruit.
