Evident also is a bit of the aroma of pomegranate and stone fruit, such as plum. The palate offers hints of ripe black and red cherry, a bit of apricot, tea and the silkiness of smoky oak. The finish is long, lush and the wine has benefited from the time and effort extended to these select grapes with its tightly knit flavors fitting comfortably into a seamless composition. The 1994 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is worthy of a fine cellar but would be appreciated even now with fine foods and good friends.
