Big, brash, and bold efforts aimed at folks who want lots of up front fruit! Deep dark plum, blackberry, and black raspberry fruit characteristics are prominent throughout the deeply layered palate of this wine along with plum pudding spices. All of those fruit flavors and spices carry though the finish along with bits of chocolate and earth.
Big & Bold
Very tasty! Inky and very strong like a Petite Syrah should be. Full bodied with an interesting mid tongue taste. Burnt caramel, probably oak. It's very interesting. I wonder if they should have toasted the barrels more. Still young. It should rock in 2015. At $26.99 I'll be getting more. Hopefully I can wait till next year, it's still drinkable.
