Very deep, youthfull color, intense almost purple hue. Very classic Rubicon nose with
violets, ripe plum, cedarwood and intense spiceynesss. Still very young but brooding, promising further maturation potential. The palate is full bodied, structured but packed with fresh dark fruit and rounded, linear tannins.
Cellar Potential: 15 - 20 years, provided wine is stored in ideal cellar conditions
"Ripe and dense, but sleek and focused, with a lovely core of mulled black currant, warm fig paste and tobacco, laced with mouthwatering dark olive and iron notes that help the finish stretch out nicely. Has solid grip in reserve, too. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drink now through 2011. 1,400 cases imported."
