Winemaker Notes

One of our favorite blends is a big juicy Syrah and a robust Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2005 Matchbook Syrah is 89% Syrah and 11% Cabernet. Raspberry, spice, tabacco, cassis and a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels.

Vineyard Notes:
85% Dunnigan Hills Syrah from the Matchbook Vineyard, 4% Russian River Valley Syrah, 11% Chalk HIll Cabernet Sauvignon.
