The Tournier family established this estate in 1982, renovating an old farm in La Cadiere-d'Azur. They farm organically, focusing on mourvedre, which they blend with a little cinsault and grenache for this textbook Bandol rose. It's savory, with mourvedre's earthy black fruit flavors, a little herbaceous and peppery, saline and firm. Pour it with a watermelon-and-feta salad, and save a bottle for next summer, too.
