Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Pale color with brilliant, metallic highlights. Delightful bouquet with notes of grapefruit, green apples and wild flowers. Clean in the mouth with delicious acidity that highlights its fruit and freshness resulting in good length. A white wine with great character.

Critical Acclaim

"Light yellow. Spicy aromas of honeysuckle, green apple, herbs and lemon peel. Tangy and dry, with brisk orchard fruit and citrus flavors and a touch of mint. The dry finish features good spicy cut."
