Winemaker's Notes

The pale yellow wine has a brilliant color with a green tint, and elegant, white flower aromas which lead to round, fresh, mineral flavors on the palate. The wine has a very clean and balanced character in the mouth.

The wine pairs well with fish, seafood, chicken and goat's milk cheeses.

Learn About Marcel Vincent & Fils

The firm of Marcel Vincent & Fils, producer of Chateau Fuisse, was founded in 1864. Current winemaker Jean-Jacques Vincent, great-grandson of the founder, is as alert to modern innovations as he is loyal to proven traditional methods. Serena Sutcliffe, MW has described him as "one of the most brilliant makers of white Burgundy". The artisanal "Selections" that bear his name are made with fruit (never juice) purchased from a small number of growers with whom he has long-term relationships. The wine is vinified in much the same way as his own estate wines.
