Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

100% Pinot Noir

Over 25 years later, we are still dedicated to Chip's vision of making unique blends. In this spirit, we have created this exciting blend of Pinot Noir grapes from carefully selected vineyards from the most esteemed corners of Sonoma County, including the Russian River Valley and the Carneros regions, each offering its own unique flavor profiles from its terroir. The select lots of wine were blended to develop complexity and true varietal character, while retaining an approachable, rich fruit style that is genuinely delightful and truly satisfying

This Lyeth Pinot Noir is supple and juicy with lively flavors of Bing cherry and raspberry, balanced with spice and a hint of earthiness. Try it with stews, turkey and triple cream cheeses!
