Winemaker's Notes

Burnished gold tones glinting with orangey highlights; fine but ultra-energetic, rich and persistent bead. Intense and bursting with gorgeous aromas typical of great Pinot Noir grapes. Flavors of stoned fruits (cherries), crystallized citrus peel (oranges), fresh almonds and sweet blossom (acacia) are reinforced by early hints of maturity. Witness scents of sweet, baked apples and spicy nuances that are characteristic of grapes from north-facing first great growths on the Montagne de Reims. All the signs of a characterful wine that fully expresses the strength and power of Pinot Noir grapes. Vinous, almost robust on the attack but cushioned by the concentration and roundness of very ripe, oak-aged fruit. This sappiness gives way to lingering, lasting freshness, creating an airy sensation that enhances a unique balance of flavors and texture. Rich, crisp and harmonious, this is a characteristic Louis Roederer Brut Vintage Champagne: powerful on the attack, perfectly poised on the palate, fresh, pure and refined on the finish.

The fullness and richness of Louis Roederer Brut Vintage make it the ideal wine to be drunk with meals and the perfect accompaniment to fish dishes and white meats. To enjoy the wine at its best, serve at a temperature ranging from 50° to 54°F.

Today, nearly 75% of Champagne...

Well, status for one - many vintage Champagnes are...
