This wine has an aroma of ripe blackberry, cassis and black cherry with a hint of minty herbaceousness snuggled in the smoky char of French and American oak. The mouth, while plump on the mid palate, has enough tannin and acid to balance the fruit with astringency, yet leave the finish clean and long.
