Winemaker's Notes

A rich, full-bodied wine that balances firmness with ripe fruit flavors along with notes of oak and vanilla. The wine will develop in the bottle for 8 to 15 years.

Serve with rich white meats, fish and shellfish, especially in cream sauces.

Critical Acclaim

"Lime, grapefruit, graphite, salt and jasmine emerge gracefully from the 2011 Meursault Perrières. Floral and perfumed throughout, the 2011 comes across as translucent and utterly impeccable in its purity. The Perrières shuts down quickly in the glass, though, which suggests it needs quite a bit of bottle age to be truly expressive. There is a lot to look forward to here. 94+"

"While this shares some aromatic elements of the Genevrières this is notably more floral and displays added breadth in the form of citrus zest, mineral reduction and pain grillé. There is excellent volume and very fine detail to the intensely stony medium-bodied flavors that deliver impressive depth and persistence.
Rating: 90-92"
