Winemaker's Notes:

This Vineyard Selection Cabernet Sauvignon crop comes from the Monte Rosso Vineyard, high atop Mt. Pisgah in the Sonoma Valley, at the 1000 elevation. This mountain vineyard has been in the Martini family since 1938 and produces fine Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Very forward in the nose, offering scents of cinnamon, vanilla, and engaging cassis. The mouth is silky, full, concentrated and balanced with a long finish.
