Winemaker's Notes:
The 2002 Mount Veeder shows many of the classic appellation characteristics including violets, minerals and intense dark fruit, beautifully balanced with hints of nutmeg, a touch of mint, espresso and cassis. The tannin structure and acid balance make this a wine to age.
Lokoya produces small quantities of appellation-specific Cabernet Sauvignon from low-vigor mountain vineyard sites above the Napa Valley. By selecting only the finest vineyards and
farming each parcel to accentuate its unique attribute, Lokoya produces powerful and complex wines that reflect their distinctive origin. |
