Blood plum with bright crimson edges. The nose is an expression of ripe, but pleasingly cool-climate Cabernet with aromas of dark berry, tobacco and cassis against a background of fine cedary oak. The wine is medium to full bodied with an excellent balance of blackcurrant fruit flavour, tobacco leaf complexity and sweet charry oak. The palate has excellent length and structure, derived from fruit quality rather than high alcohol.
Lindemans was established in 1843 by Dr. Henry John Lindeman. Today Lindemans has four wineries in Coonawarra, Karadoc, Barossa and Hunter Valley. It produces a wide range of wines.
