Crafted from hillside blocks in low-vigor volcanic soils at 1,500 feet, this 100% Syrah shows a
taut, restrained character before erupting loads of oaky sweet spice, vanilla and cocoa aromas.
At its core, the 2006 Syrah is dense and deeply fruited with ripe blueberry and brooding black
fruit, thick with fleshy texture and firm tannins.
